Eduard 1:48 F4U-4 Corsair painting masks are precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks that make it easy to paint the glazing and the details of a model of the Vought F4U-4 Corsair carrier fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This Eduard painting mask set is intended for a plastic model of the American Vought F4U-4 Corsair carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. The masks, made of thin kabuki tape, fit the canopy frames and other areas exactly, so painting the glazing goes quickly and with sharp edges. It is an accessory for painting, not the model itself.
The Vought F4U Corsair was an American carrier fighter known for its distinctive inverted gull wing and its powerful radial engine. The F4U-4 version was one of the later, higher-performing variants with an improved powerplant. The Corsair made its name over the Pacific in the Second World War and later fought in the Korean War as well, where it stood out as a tough and versatile machine.
Transfer each mask onto clean glazing with tweezers and press it carefully against the frames. Spray the paint in thin coats with an airbrush so that it cannot bleed under the mask. Once it is dry, take the masks off carefully.
These are painting masks, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
