Omask Wheel Bay Masking Plugs — F4U Corsair, 1:48

A set of flexible foam plugs from the Omask brand, made to cover the wheel (landing gear) bays of a model of the American carrier-based fighter F4U Corsair in 1:48 scale. This is not a kit part or a paint, but a painting aid: shaped plugs fill the bay openings precisely, so their interior stays clean during both the primer and top-coat spraying. The plugs are shaped for the Tamiya Corsair kit.

Use

• Insert the foam plugs into the wheel bay openings before painting.
• They prevent primer and paint from getting into the bay's interior and onto its walls.
• Once the paint has dried, the plugs come out easily without damaging the surface.
• The flexible foam conforms to the bay's shape and can be reused.
