Color elements for the observer station of the British Fairey Barracuda carrier bomber in 1:48 scale, prepared for the Trumpeter kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Fairey Barracuda was a British carrier bomber of the Second World War. It served with the Fleet Air Arm, took off from aircraft carriers and you recognize it at first glance by its high-set wing and the long glazed canopy. The crew consisted of three men and the middle place belonged to the observer, that is the navigator, who led the machine to the target and worked the equipment behind the pilot's back. It is exactly this part of the cockpit that the set covers.
Color elements for the observer station in 1:48 scale, prepared for the Trumpeter kit. The instruments, the side panels and the small controls go onto the model already finished, with colors and lettering, so laborious filling in of dials with a tiny brush falls away. The interior thus gains depth even where painting by hand on smooth plastic would look flat.
The method of application differs between the individual lines, so follow the manufacturer's instructions before work. They state how the elements are taken off the carrier paper and what they are fixed to the part with. First free the surfaces the elements are seated on of grease and let them dry completely. Work with tweezers with fine tips and place the element straight into position, because sliding it around dry easily crumples the edges.
For modelers who are building the Barracuda in 1:48 scale and want a well rendered interior without hours of work with a brush. The kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
