The Fairey Gannet was a British carrier aircraft intended for anti-submarine work, operated from aircraft carriers. Its characteristic feature was a pair of contra-rotating propellers driven by a turboprop powerplant, thanks to which only part of the power could be used as needed, saving fuel on long patrol flights.
First wash any mold release residue off the parts. Cut the casting blocks off carefully with a sharp modeling blade (not with nippers). Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Use respiratory protection while sanding. Take care over the correct order and orientation of the two propellers (the blades turn in opposite directions). The surface comes out after a coat of primer; finish the blades with a matte coat and colored tips according to the scheme you have chosen.
This is a detail set, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
