This is a resin (3D printed) set for experienced modelers, not a standalone model. The set brings a complete upgrade of the cockpit of the strategic FB-111 version (early modification) in 1:48 scale, including 3D decals for the instrument panels and the side panels. It replaces the simplified plastic cockpit from the base kit.

What the set replaces

The FB-111 was the strategic bomber version of the General Dynamics F-111 family with its crew seated side by side. The set faithfully reproduces the cockpit tub, the seats, the instrument panels and the side consoles; the 3D decals give the instruments a raised and readable appearance without laborious hand painting of the dials. The result is a markedly more detailed cockpit.

How to use the set

Carefully separate the parts from the print supports and the casting blocks, wash the release agent residues off them and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Protect your airways when sanding. Apply the 3D decals to painted panels according to the instructions. Before closing the fuselage, try the fit of the tub in your particular kit.
