An injection-molded plastic set in 1:48 scale from the Japanese maker Tamiya, focused on a German tank crew doing maintenance in field conditions. It contains nine figures in realistic standing and kneeling poses - men loading ammunition, repairing the running gear, servicing the engine, painting and a supervising sergeant. The generous contents are completed by rounds and crates for 88 mm and 75 mm ammunition, a drum, a ladder, tools, a bucket, an anvil, a vise and further accessories.
The scene refers to the everyday work of German tank crews in the Second World War, when maintenance and the replenishment of ammunition took place straight in the field. The ammunition included matches the types for the Tiger, King Tiger, Panther and Pz.Kpfw.IV tanks.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with thin cement for plastic. The wooden crates and tools come to life with a wash and a dry brush, and the metal parts with darkening and light wear. Build the figures with an airbrush and finish them with a brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
