Eduard Firefly Mk. I masks 1:48 are die-cut masking templates for the cockpit glazing of the British Fairey Firefly carrier fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is NOT a model of an aircraft but a set of precisely die-cut masking templates from Eduard in 1:48 scale. The masks follow the shapes of the cockpit glazing frames of the Fairey Firefly carrier fighter in the Mk. I version. The self-adhesive templates let you spray the glazing frames cleanly and quickly without the drawn-out job of masking with tape.
The Fairey Firefly was a British two-seat carrier fighter and reconnaissance aircraft of the Second World War and the postwar years. The Mk. I was among the first production machines. The two-seat layout with its extended cockpit glazing makes masking the transparencies one of the more demanding parts of the build.
Clean the glazing, transfer the masks carefully and press them into the corners of the frames. Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats so that it does not run under the edge of the mask. We recommend spraying the interior cockpit color first and the exterior camouflage afterward.
This is a set of masking templates, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
