A set of cockpit seat belts in 1:48 scale from the maker Art Scale, from the ASK line, rendered for the early type of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 fighter. These are 3D-printed decals: flexible belts with raised relief and a printed color finish on the carrier film of a water-slide decal. They are applied as a decal, adapt to the shape of the seat and faithfully imitate the fabric belts with their fittings used on the early versions of the aircraft.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was a German fighter of the Second World War, valued for its toughness, good firepower and its performance at low and medium altitudes. The early versions powered by a radial engine formed the counterweight to Allied fighters on the Western Front. The seat belts of the early machines differed in their rendition and they are a rewarding detail for an open cockpit.
Prepare the seat and the area under the decal smooth and degreased. Release the decal in water, seat it on the seat and adapt it to its shape with a decal softener, so that the belts cling perfectly. Once dry, the surface can be unified with a matte clear coat. Application is quick and calls for neither photo-etched parts nor painting by hand.
It is a detailing accessory, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
