Eduard masks Fw 190A/F 1:48 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for the model of the German Fw 190A/F fighter. It gives sharp color divisions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is meant for the plastic model of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190 fighter in the A and F versions. It is neither a kit nor a model of its own but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color divisions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without lengthy cutting of tape by hand.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 is a German fighter of the Second World War powered by the BMW 801 radial engine. It stood out for its rugged structure, good armament and toughness. The A version was the classic fighter variant, while the F version served as an armored attack aircraft for close support of ground units. Characteristic is the fully glazed hinged canopy.
Degrease the glazing of the hinged canopy and let it dry. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them on the frame of the windscreen and on the hinged section, pressing them into the edges. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the hub. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle. The set also makes it easier to lay out the sharp edges of the camouflage fields typical of German machines.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
