The Quickboost set (a range of the Aires company) holds resin replacement exhausts for the British Gloster Gladiator biplane fighter, in 1:48 scale. It is a detail accessory for a kit that replaces the plastic exhaust collector ring of the radial engine and captures its segmentation more faithfully.
The Gloster Gladiator was the last biplane fighter of the Royal Air Force. It entered service in the second half of the 1930s and saw combat in the early phases of the Second World War, among other places over Norway, France and Malta. It was powered by a radial engine whose exhaust collector ring encircled the nose.
Wash the mold release agent off the castings, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways while sanding. The exhausts come out well in metallic shades and with pigments for burnt metal.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
