This is a resin (3D-printed) detail set, not a kit. The set from the maker Quinta Studio holds a pair of Martin-Baker GRU-7A ejection seats in the early version (with early seat cushions) for a model of the F-14 A fighter in 1:48 scale. The fine casting captures the straps, the handles and the texture of the seats more faithfully than the plastic parts from the base model. The target kits are Hasegawa or GWH.

Use

• Cut the seats from the support structures and wash them free of the remains of the release agent.
• Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
• Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
• Once painted with a base coat, bring out the details with a wash and a dry brush.
