Eduard 1:48 Grumman F3F-2 seatbelts STEEL is a photo-etched set of steel seat belts for detailing the cockpit.

This is not an aircraft kit but a separate photo-etched accessory for improving the cockpit of a model of the American carrier biplane Grumman F3F-2 in 1:48 scale. The set is made of thin steel sheet (the STEEL range) and the belts are printed in color in advance, so there is no need to paint them.
Steel photo-etched belts are more springy than brass ones and hold their shape better after bending, so they can be curved naturally over the edge of the seat. In the open cockpit of a biplane the belts are clearly visible and the color printing faithfully imitates the fabric straps and the metal buckles.
Separate the parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface. Form the bends with tweezers or with a photo-etch bender. Use super glue (cyanoacrylate) in the smallest amount for fixing; on fine buckles PVA glue will do as well. Degrease the surface of the seat before gluing.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
