Eduard painting masks for the He 177 Greif in 1:48 scale are a set of precisely shaped masks for cleanly spraying the extensive cockpit glazing and other areas of the German heavy bomber Heinkel He 177 Greif model. The model is purchased separately.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting (kabuki) masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a plastic model in 1:48 scale. The masks are pre-cut and self-adhesive, following the frames of the extensive glazed cockpit canopy and, depending on the scope of the set, other areas including the wheels. They are used for fast, clean masking before spraying paint. This is an accessory; the aircraft model itself is not included and is purchased separately.
The Heinkel He 177 Greif was a German four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War with an unusual layout, in which the engines were coupled in pairs into two nacelles. It was one of the few German strategic bombers, and its development was plagued by reliability problems with the powerplant.
Mask the extensive glazing patiently: transfer the masks onto a degreased surface, press down the edges, and cover the remaining areas with masking tape. Apply the paint in thin coats with an airbrush and remove the masks before the paint fully cures.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The model itself, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
