This is a detail accessory, not the model itself. The set holds colored photo-etched parts aimed above all at the interior and the cockpit: instrument panels, side consoles, seat belts and small fittings. It is intended for models of the twin-engine night fighter Heinkel He 219 Uhu in 1:48 scale.
Color printing on photo-etched metal makes it possible to render instrument panels and consoles with faithful labels and shades without laborious painting by hand. Fine metal parts replace simplified plastic shapes and visibly raise the level of detail where it is clearly visible under the canopy glazing.
Separate the parts from the fret and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) in small amounts; on flat colored panels a photo-etch adhesive will serve as well. Protect the colored surfaces and, if need be, go over them only with a matte coat to even out the sheen. Give the uncolored parts a primer and the color to match the interior.
This is an accessory for a model. The kit itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
