Double-sided masking templates for the frame of the glazing of the H.S. Buccaneer in 1:48 scale. They make it possible to spray the frame of the cabin not only from the outside but from the inside as well.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from Dead Design in the version for the inner and the outer side of the glazing. Against the basic one-sided set it contains masks for both sides of the clear part, so the frame of the cabin is correctly painted even when seen into the interior.
What decides is whether you leave the cabin open. On a model with a closed canopy the inner side of the frame is visible only from a very small angle and a one-sided set is usually enough. As soon as you slide the canopy back and expose the interior, however, a bare transparent frame on the inside gives away at once that it was forgotten. The Buccaneer has glazing divided into several parts and a cabin with the crew in tandem, so an open model exposes a fairly large area of the inner frame.
First stick the inner side on and spray it in the shade of the interior, let it dry thoroughly and only then deal with the outer mask and the top color of the airframe. In the meantime put the clear part down on a soft surface, never face down. Keep both sets of masks with you until the clear coating is finished and take them off as the last step of the build.
