Injection-molded plastic kit of the German twin-engined night fighter Messerschmitt Bf 110G-4 in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is the Weekend form, aimed at an easy and fast build from quality plastic. The box contains decals for four marking options of night machines; photo-etch and masks are not part of this edition.
The Bf 110 was a German twin-engined heavy fighter of the Second World War which, after being used in the day fighter role, came into its own above all as a night hunter. The G-4 version was the peak of that career: it carried airborne radar, more powerful engines and a crew of three. The characteristic radar antennas on the nose and the upward-firing armament made it a feared opponent of the Allied night raids over Germany.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the roomy cockpit for the crew of three before closing up the fuselage. Glue the fine radar antennas on the nose carefully and only at the end of the build, so that they are not damaged during handling. Apply a primer before painting and lay the colors down with an airbrush; on night machines with mottled gray camouflage you will appreciate gentle highlighting of the panel lines.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
