Hungarian national insignia and numbers for MiG types 1951-1990 in 1:48 scale is a decal set from HAD models covering four decades of Hungarian jet fighters.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal set from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit: the sheet contains the national insignia of the Hungarian Air Force from the years 1951 to 1990 and fuselage numbers intended for aircraft of the MiG line, which in that period formed the backbone of the Hungarian fighter force.
During the Cold War the Hungarian Air Force successively operated several generations of Soviet-designed MiG jet aircraft. Anyone who wants to build a particular Hungarian machine needs the right insignia of the given period and matching numbers, and that is exactly what the universal sheet offers. From the numerals you put together the markings of a machine according to period photographs, while the insignia match the form used in the years 1951 to 1990. The 1:48 scale is the most popular compromise between size and detail for fighters.
The basis is a glossy, cured base. After a short soak, move the motifs onto the model with a soft brush, squeeze the water out from the center toward the edges and let the decal bed with a softener; on the riveted surfaces of the wings that is a necessity. Once dry, overcoat the whole model; the clear protects the decals during further weathering.
This is a decal accessory: the airplane model itself is not included in the package.
