Responsibility details are not available.
This product is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory (an aftermarket set) in 1:48 scale from Eduard. It contains 3D-printed main landing gear legs that replace the standard plastic parts and bring finer, more faithful detail. The set is prepared specifically for the North American P-51 D Mustang kit from Eduard — without that base kit you cannot use it.
3D printing captures the structure of the hydraulics, the joints and the surfaces of the landing gear legs in finer detail than standard plastic. The parts are fitted in place of the original plastic legs and increase the realism of the Mustang's visually exposed landing gear. The set is aimed specifically at the P-51D version with the bubble canopy.
Separate the 3D-printed parts carefully from their supports with a sharp knife or photo-etch nippers, clean up the cuts and sand them lightly. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting, lay the paints on with an airbrush in thin coats and pick out the landing gear detail with a wash.
