Water-released 3D printed interior decals in 1:48 scale for the early Soviet Polikarpov I-16 type 5 fighter. The parts have a real relief and full colors, so the instrument panel and the cockpit interior gain a three-dimensional look without photo-etch and without the lengthy painting of the dials.
Color-printed 3D panels of the instrument panel and of the main interior elements of the cockpit. The elements are printed on a decal backing paper, are pliable and follow the shape of the surface; the dials have legible scales and three-dimensional bezels.
Degrease the surface and cover it with a gloss varnish (Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22); the elements have no adhesive layer of their own and hold precisely on the gloss. Cut the part out, leave it about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slide it off the paper into place. On a busy surface a drop of cyanoacrylate glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as they attack the printed resin.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a standalone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
