Reskit 1:48 exhaust nozzle for the IAI Kfir (F-21A Lion) is a resin detail accessory for models of the Kfir fighter. It replaces the plastic nozzle with a more faithful casting with fine structure.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin (3D designed) detail set, not an airplane kit. It contains a precisely shaped engine exhaust nozzle for models of the Israeli IAI Kfir fighter in the F-21A version. The part is highly detailed, with a realistic inner and outer structure that injection-molded plastic usually cannot capture. It is intended for 1:48 scale.
The IAI Kfir is an Israeli combat fighter derived from the Dassault Mirage 5 airframe and fitted with an American General Electric J79 engine. The F-21A version was leased to the US Navy and Marine Corps in the 1980s, where it served as an aggressor for air combat training. The characteristic canard surface at the air intakes and the prominent tail nozzle are among the hallmarks of the type.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove any mold release residue. Cut the casting blocks off carefully with a saw or a knife and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before fitting it, paint the nozzle in metallic shades and bring out the heat-stressed areas with dark filters and pigments.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
