3D-printed colored interior decals on decal paper for a model of the Ilyushin Il-2 (the two-seat version of 1943) in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit but a detailing accessory: a set of 3D-printed, fully colored decals that take the place of painting the cockpit by hand. The elements have a fine three-dimensional relief, so once applied the interior looks deep and true. The set is made for a plastic model of the two-seat Ilyushin Il-2 of 1943 in 1:48 scale.
The Ilyushin Il-2 Shturmovik was a Soviet ground-attack aircraft of the Second World War, famous for the armored bathtub that protected the pilot and the engine. The two-seat version added a rear gunner for defense against fighters and became one of the most heavily produced combat aircraft in history.
The individual elements go on like classic decals: they soften in water and are transferred onto the cockpit parts. The lengthy painting of the instrument panel, the side consoles and the belts falls away. Work with plenty of water and a soft brush, and unify the surface with a matte varnish at the end. A decal softener does not belong here, though, as it would attack the resin the elements are printed from.
The accessory contains neither a model nor paints; it serves to detail a kit bought separately.
