The real subject

The Mitsubishi J2M Raiden, given the Allied reporting name Jack, was a Japanese naval interceptor of the Second World War, designed for a fast climb and for destroying bombers. The J2M3 version has a framed canopy, whose clean painting is made easier by pre-cut masks.

Use

• Transfer the part with tweezers onto degreased glass and press the edges down.
• Fit the inner masks before the cockpit is closed up.
• Spray the frame in thin coats to prevent bleed.
