Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is meant for a plastic model of the Swedish Saab JAS 39 Gripen multi-role fighter. It is not a kit or a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without slow hand-cutting of tape.
The Saab JAS 39 Gripen is a Swedish single-engine multi-role fighter with a delta layout and canard foreplanes. It is designed for fighter, attack and reconnaissance duties, low operating costs and the ability to operate from short road strips. It is flown by the Swedish Air Force and by a number of other countries and is among the modern light multi-role machines.
Degrease the glazing of the bubble canopy and let it dry. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them on the frame of the windscreen and on the hinged section, pressing them into the edges. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin layers. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at an acute angle so as not to disturb the fresh layer.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
