The set brings replacement landing gear wheels of the early type for models of the Junkers Ju 88A in 1:48 scale. It is an aftermarket resin accessory completed with photo-etched parts and painting masks. It holds the main wheels with separate inner and outer hubs, the tailwheel and its cover. It does not hold a model of the aircraft; it replaces the wheels from the original kit.
The Junkers Ju 88 was a German twin-engine combat aircraft of the Second World War used as a bomber, a dive bomber and a night fighter. The A series was the basic bomber version. Detailed wheels with a clear tire texture are among the features that most lift the realistic impression of the landing gear.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts and cut off the casting blocks. Thanks to the enclosed masks you can paint the wheels quickly and with a sharp transition between tire and hub. The white tailwheel is characteristic of a number of German aircraft, and the enclosed masks make painting it easier. Add dust effects at the end.
This is a detail set, not a complete model. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
