TFace masks for the Junkers F.13 in 1:48 reckon with the inner side of the glazing as well, so the frames can be painted from both sides.
Responsibility details are not available.
Eduard uses the TFace designation for a form that reckons with the inner side of the glazing as well. The cockpit frames can thus be painted outside and inside and will not stay translucent when you look into the interior. The item complements a plastic model; it does not replace it.
The F.13 was the first transport design by Hugo Junkers to reach series production. Corrugated metal, a cantilever wing and an enclosed compartment for passengers made it a machine on which a whole further family of Junkers transports followed. It was built for over ten years and served with airlines on several continents, often in difficult conditions far from maintenance shops. Here passengers sat for the first time in an enclosed and heated compartment, which against the open cabins of the day was a fundamental step forward in comfort.
Start inside: cover the canopy glazing, spray the interior shade and let it dry. Only then glue the glazing into the fuselage and go on with the outer finish. The reverse order means you will no longer reach the inner side and the frame will stay clear from within. Before you reach for the gun, look the edges over against the light; a hairline gap is hard to correct after spraying.
This item replaces neither a kit nor finishing materials.
