A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale focused on two specialized branches of the twin-engined Junkers Ju 88, the C version and the D version. The package contains the decal sheet alone, that is an accessory for a model already built and painted; a kit is not part of it.
The Ju 88 was among the most versatile German twin-engined aircraft of the Second World War. While the basic line served as a bomber, the C version was rebuilt as a heavy and night fighter with a solid nose and strong gun armament, and the D version came about as a long-range reconnaissance machine with photographic equipment. Both branches differ from the bomber machines in the shape of the nose and in the way they were used, and so in their markings as well.
The most common mistake is rushing the soaking. The decal is dipped in lukewarm water for only a few seconds, then taken out and left lying on a towel until the membrane releases from the paper by itself; with larger markings that tends to be half a minute or more. If the sheet is left in the water too long, the adhesive washes out and the decal will then not stay on the model. Lukewarm water speeds the process up, hot water ruins it. Always slide the membrane from the paper onto the model and do not pull it into the air with tweezers.
This is a standalone decal sheet. The kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
