Art Scale 1:48 Ki-27 Nate is a single-sided self-adhesive masking set for the glazing of the Ki-27 kit from Hasegawa in 1:48 scale. An accessory for painting, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks for the kit of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-27 fighter from Hasegawa in 1:48 scale. This is an aid for painting, not a model. The masks cover the transparent areas of the cockpit, you spray the framing along with the rest of the aircraft, and once they are off the glass stays clean and the frame edges sharp.
The name gives the single-sided form. That means masks for one face of the glazing, namely the outer one you spray with camouflage. The inner face stays without masks, so the frames will not be in interior color from within and you have to cover the glass with your own tape when spraying the cockpit. For most builds with a closed canopy that does not matter, because there is no proper view inside anyway. If you are building a model with the canopy slid open, though, or you set store by the cockpit, reach for the double-sided variant, which is a separate item.
The Ki-27 was a Japanese single-seat fighter with fixed landing gear in aerodynamic fairings and a markedly glazed cockpit. Its framing is broken up and narrow, which is exactly the case where cutting tape by hand takes more time than the whole rest of the painting.
The kit, paints and masking tape are not included in the package.
