A photo-etched set in 1:48 scale for a model of the Lockheed Martin F-16C Block 42 fighter aircraft. Metal parts refine the details that plastic renders too coarsely.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter which has spread to dozens of air forces since the 1970s and is still going through modernization. The Block 40 and 42 versions came about as machines capable of being used at night and in reduced visibility too, which included equipment for carrying navigation and targeting pods and the modifications to the airframe connected with it. For a modeler the F-16 is rewarding precisely through the degree of detail that can be made out on a smooth and cleanly shaped airframe.
A set of photo-etched metal parts for a model in 1:48 scale. Sheet metal makes it possible to produce small handles, instrument bezels and loops in a thickness an injected part cannot reach. The extent of the set and the kit it is cut for are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade against a hard surface, not by breaking them in your fingers. Make the bends over a bending tool or over the jaws of flat tweezers, so that the edge is sharp and in one plane. They are glued with superglue applied in a minute amount, ideally with a needle from a drop set aside on a tile. Plan the procedure in advance: fit and paint the parts that will end up in an enclosed space before the space is closed, because later you will no longer get at them. Degrease the sheet before painting and use a primer intended for metal.
Paints, glue and modeling tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
