The Eduard TFace masking set for the Martin B-26B Marauder in 1:48 scale allows for outlining the glazing from both sides.
Responsibility details are not available.
With this set the TFace designation is the key. It means that the masks cover the glazing of a Martin B-26B Marauder model in 1:48 size not only from outside, but from the inner side as well. The Marauder has a glazed nose, a glazed pilot's cockpit and further glazing along the fuselage, so double-sided masking shows on it more markedly than on a small single-seat aircraft.
The Martin B-26 Marauder came about as a fast twin-engine bomber with a slender cigar-shaped fuselage and a fairly small wing. It was the wing that brought the high landing speed because of which beginning crews at first considered the type difficult. After modifications and better training, however, the Marauder proved a very tough machine and in operations over western Europe it achieved a very favorable ratio of losses to the number of sorties.
First polish the glazing and let it dry, and only then lay the masks on. Spray the inner frames with the interior shade before you glue the part into the fuselage. The outer side comes in turn together with the masking scheme of the whole aircraft. If you are going to fill the front glazing, do it before masking, because sanding dust under the edges of a mask will reliably blur the edge.
