A mask set from the Czech maker New Ware for models of the F-4J/S Phantom II in 1:48 scale. The masks are machine-cut from kabuki tape (a thin yellow washi) that follows the shape of the frames, holds a sharp edge of spray and leaves no adhesive behind when taken off. Over the basic level, ADVANCED adds the masking of the sealing and the window frames. It is based on the dimensions of the Zoukei-Mura kit.
Degrease the surface and free it of dust. Lift the mask off the sheet, lay it on the part and press the edges down carefully, so that no paint runs under them. Spray thin coats and take the mask off shortly after it dries, while the edge is still sharp.
The F-4J and its later rebuild the F-4S were the carrier-based fighter versions of the Phantom II of the US Navy. They were marked by powerful engines and modernized avionics; the S version gained leading-edge slats among other things.
This is a masking accessory, not a kit. The Zoukei-Mura base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
