This is a masking set, not a model. The EXPERT version is the most complete of the New Ware line. It contains pre-cut (die-cut) self-adhesive masks in kabuki tape for the cockpit canopy including the seals, the inner and outer faces of the glazing, the other clear parts, the wheels and normally the camouflage demarcation as well, on F-80A and F-80C Shooting Star models in 1:48 scale.
The Lockheed F-80 Shooting Star was one of the first jet fighters brought into operational service with the US Air Force. It was used during the Korean War, where it was among the pioneers of the jet era. The smooth, glossy metal surfaces of the machine make its model a rewarding subject with the emphasis on clean spraying.
The set does not contain paints, glue or the model. It is an aid for painting.
