The New Ware 1:48 FW 200C-4 Condor EXPERT mask set is the most extensive grade of masking for this subject. It is meant for a modeler who wants the surfaces beyond the basic glazing solved as well.

The EXPERT grade is the top of the range of mask sets from the manufacturer New Ware for this subject. Compared with the basic version it covers a markedly wider extent of surfaces. The set comes as self-adhesive parts cut on a backing film, shaped exactly to the geometry of the model, so nothing has to be measured or trimmed.
On a large four-engine aircraft the time spent on preparation is counted in hours. It is not only about saving it, but above all about repeatability: every frame has the same width, every transition ends in the same place. That is exactly what tells a model that looks factory-made apart from one with inaccuracies done by hand. The higher grade of the set moreover handles places where a modeler would manage with tape only with great difficulty.
Divide the work into stages and put the model aside between them, so that the parts already applied are not damaged. Before spraying, go over the edge of the mask with a light coat of the base color; any creep is thus closed off and will not show under the main shade. Spray square to the surface and in thin coats; on broken-up edges it pays to lower the pressure. Remove the masks gradually and check whether paint is coming away with them. If it is, stop and let the finish cure longer; haste costs the most work here.
The package holds only the mask set. A kit, paints and glue are not part of it.
