The New Ware 1:48 Mask He-111 H-16 EXPERT is a self-adhesive mask set cut to the shape of the parts of one specific kit, the ICM 48263. The EXPERT level means the widest scope of the set, that is the most ready-made masks for spraying the frames of the extensive glazing and other areas of the model.

A mask set made of thin self-adhesive material whose individual pieces are cut exactly to the shape of the glazing and other areas of one specific kit, the ICM 48263. It is not a kit or a spare part, but an aid for painting a model in 1:48 scale. With New Ware the EXPERT designation is a statement about the scope of the set: against the basic version it holds markedly more cut masks, so it also covers parts that would otherwise be dealt with by laboriously cutting tape by hand.
The Heinkel He 111 in the H-16 standard was a twin-engine all-metal bomber of the Second World War. Its characteristic design feature is the fully glazed nose made up of a large number of irregular panes, together with the pilot's station set asymmetrically to one side. That glazing is the most laborious part of painting the model, because the frames vary in width and do not run in a single direction.
The individual masks are lifted off the sheet with tweezers or the tip of a scalpel, laid on clean, degreased glazing and pressed down with a soft cotton swab so that the edge beds down along its whole length. Spray several thin coats instead of one heavy one, because a heavy coat of paint builds a ridge at the edge of the mask that tears as the mask comes off. Take the mask off shortly after the paint has dried and at a shallow angle, so that it peels back on itself rather than straight up. Keep the rest of the sheet in its original wrapping, out of direct light; the tack will last considerably longer.
This is a mask set, not a model. Paints, glue and the plastic kit are not included in the package.
