This is not a kit but a set of self-adhesive masks from New Ware for plastic models of the L-39MS/L-59 Super Albatros jet trainer in 1:48 scale. The masks are machine cut (die-cut) with precision from kabuki paper, which follows curves well and comes off after spraying with no adhesive residue. The BASIC level covers the outer masking of the two-seat cockpit glazing and the other clear parts, and the landing gear wheels.

The real subject

The Aero L-59 Super Albatros (the L-39MS version) is a Czech advanced jet trainer and light combat aircraft, a more capable development of the L-39 type with a more powerful engine and modernized equipment. The two-seat canopy with its divided frames makes accurate masks a marked saving of time.
