Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks from the manufacturer New Ware, intended for spraying the British national insignia on a model of the fighter Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I in 1:48 scale. Instead of applying decals you simply spray the roundels with paint. The result has no edge of carrier film, it follows the engraving and the riveting of the surface perfectly and takes subsequent weathering without worry — exactly the way competition modelers do it.
The Spitfire Mk.I was the first production version of the famous British fighter with an elliptical wing and a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. It made its name in the Battle of Britain in 1940, where together with the Hurricane it bore the main weight of the defense against German raids.
For modelers who want to move their Spitfire a level higher: sprayed national insignia look more realistic than decals, they do not silver on a matte surface and they merge with the camouflage. The set is designed to measure for a particular kit in 1:48 scale, so the dimensions and the placing of the insignia will fit exactly.
This is a masking accessory — the kit of the aircraft, paints and glue are not included in the package.
