New Ware 1:48 Su-17M4 Fitter-K EXPERT is a pre-cut self-adhesive mask set in kabuki tape for models of the Soviet fighter-bomber Su-17M4 in the EXPERT level, that is including the inner side of the cockpit.

The mask set from the Czech manufacturer New Ware for plastic models of the fighter-bomber Su-17M4 Fitter-K in the EXPERT step. The set in kabuki tape holds masks for the cockpit glazing from the outer as well as the inner side, for the other clear parts and for the wheels. Compared with the lower levels it adds masks for the inner side of the canopy, so that the frames stay colored even when you look into an open cockpit.
The Su-17 was a Soviet single-seat fighter-bomber with a variable-geometry wing, derived from the Su-7 type. The M4 version was the most advanced variant of the range, with modernized avionics, and in the 1980s it formed the backbone of Soviet tactical aviation. Export forms carried the designation Su-22. The cockpit with its prominent framing is ideal for precise masking.
Apply the masks onto a degreased and smooth finish. The pre-cut parts follow the frames exactly and cutting with a knife directly on the model is done away with. Kabuki tape adapts to curved surfaces and once the work is done it comes off without adhesive residue. Use the inner masks if you want to leave the cockpit open.
This is a masking accessory, not an airplane model. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
