A cut self-adhesive mask for the model of the fighter Su-27 in 1:48 scale. The BASIC grade is the simplest version of the range, aimed at the glazing of the model. The shapes of the parts match a particular kit, so the mask fits without trimming.
The Su-27 is a twin-engine fighter of Soviet design with a strongly blended fuselage and wing and with twin vertical tails. The Flanker B designation corresponds to the single-seat production version. A characteristic feature is the large one-piece sliding canopy with a long front frame.
The most important thing is the direction of the stream of paint. Hold the nozzle square to the masked surface, never at an angle against the edge of the mask, because the air pressure literally drives the paint under the paper. Cover in several thin coats and let them set between times. It pays to make the first coat in the interior color or in the primer, so that any slight creep under the edge does not show. Before you lift the mask off, run the tip of a toothpick along the edge so that the cured finish breaks cleanly instead of tearing into the surface.
This is a masking accessory, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
