A combined accessory set from Eduard in 1:48 scale for a model of the McDonnell F-4B Phantom. It is a package of accessories for a plastic kit, not the kit itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
A package from the range in which the Czech manufacturer Eduard brings several of its accessories for one particular model together into a single whole. It brings together in one package several sets that are also sold separately. It is therefore not a kit of the aircraft but a collection of parts and aids with which a finished kit is equipped. The exact composition of the package is not stated here, so before buying compare the contents with what you already have for the model.
The McDonnell F-4B Phantom was a two-seat carrier-based fighter of the US Navy and Marine Corps, one of the first production versions of the Phantom family. It was a large twin-engine machine with a characteristic cranked wing with dihedral outer panels and with drooped horizontal tail surfaces. The design was carried from the outset as a carrier aircraft, that is with reinforced landing gear, an arrestor hook and a folding wing. The cockpit is two-seat in tandem, and it is exactly its equipment that tends to be the most frequent target of further work on models.
Photo-etched parts are degreased before bending and are bent in a bending tool or between two blades, so that the bend comes out sharp. For gluing to plastic use a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue applied with a pin. Painted photo-etched parts for the cockpit are not varnished over, as they would lose their printing. If the set also contains masks, stick them onto clean and degreased glazing, press them down with a toothpick and remove them shortly after the last coat has dried, so that the adhesive does not bake on.
This is a set of accessories for a plastic kit, not the kit itself. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
