Responsibility details are not available.
An Eduard accessory set from the Big Sin range intended for a kit of the carrier-based F-4B Phantom in 1:48 scale. Big Sin is Eduard's package in which several resin parts from the same brand's production are sold in one box. This set is focused on armament for use against ground targets and on the parts that go with it. A model of the aircraft is not part of the package. The exact make-up is not stated here.
The McDonnell F-4B is a two-seat carrier-based version of the Phantom with two jet engines, a radar in the nose and no gun armament in the airframe. All the weapons were carried on external stations under the fuselage and under the wing, which makes the stores a prominent and clearly visible element on a model. A configuration for ground targets tends to be bulkier and shows on the wing differently from light air-to-air missiles, because it changes the look of the pylons and racks as well.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent because of the remains of the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutter, do not snap them, and sand wet with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue; cement for plastic will not join resin. Heavier stores are best fitted after the airframe has been painted and left to dry on a flat surface, so that they do not slide. Before gluing, check the seating of the pylons dry and the symmetry of the hanging on both halves of the wing.
The accessory set is supplied without a kit, glue or paints.
