The LööKplus line from the Czech manufacturer Eduard combines a pre-painted resin instrument panel with further resin parts and masks that lift the quality of the finished model.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4B Phantom II was a two-seat carrier fighter of the US Navy and the United States Marine Corps in the 1960s. Powerful engines, a strong radar and a heavy weapons load made it one of the best known combat aircraft of the Cold War. A realistic cockpit and exhausts are among the details modelers value most.
The parts replace the corresponding parts of the base model and markedly raise the detail of the cockpit, the exhausts and the landing gear. The pre-painted panel only has to be dropped in, so the set is rewarding even for those who would rather avoid the slow assembly of tiny photo-etched parts.
This is an add-on set, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
