Responsibility details are not available.
This cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is intended for a plastic model of the German Me 262A Schwalbe jet fighter. It is not a kit or a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields with no lengthy hand-cutting of tape.
The Messerschmitt Me 262 Schwalbe is a German twin-engine jet fighter from the end of the Second World War and the first jet fighter in the world to see operational service. It was powered by two turbojet engines slung under the wings, thanks to which it outpaced every contemporary piston aircraft. The A version served both as a fighter and as a fighter-bomber and was used in the defense of German airspace.
Degrease the glazing of the framed canopy and let it dry. Lift the masks off the backing and place them on the individual cockpit frames, press them into the edges and fill small gaps with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in two thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the hub. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package holds only the masks. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
