A resin detail set in 1:48 scale for more experienced modelers. It is not an airplane model, but an accessory that replaces the flaps on the wing of a plastic kit of the German Messerschmitt Me 262A Schwalbe jet fighter. It makes it possible to display the machine with the flaps lowered.
The Messerschmitt Me 262 Schwalbe was the first jet fighter in the world to be built in series, deployed in the closing stage of the Second World War. It stood out for its high speed, but also for demanding handling. Lowered landing flaps are one of those typical features that bring a model to life in a takeoff, landing or parked pose. The resin parts offer finer detail than a thin injection-molded wing.
Before gluing, wash the parts free of mold release residue, carefully cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces; protect your airways when sanding resin. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue and try the fit against the base kit dry, expecting to modify the wing. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
This is a resin detail set for more experienced modelers, not a complete model. A matching base kit is needed to use it; paints, glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
