A resin men's bicycle in 1:48 scale is a rewarding prop for smaller dioramas with a civilian, period touch. It is made by SLA 3D printing, which holds the thin frame and the wheels even in this scale. It is not a vehicle kit in its own right, but an accessory for figures and for the setting.
The bicycle can be propped against a wall, laid by a fence or placed beside a figure. In the smaller 1:48 scale one well-painted piece is enough to give a scene an everyday, human dimension. It goes well with street furniture and figures.
Wash the fine parts, carefully separate them from the print supports and clean them up under a magnifier. Given their size, work gently and glue them with thin cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the frame in gloss, the chrome parts in a metallic shade and the tires in flat black with a hint of dust.
It is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin prop. The glue, the paints and a base are not included in the package.
