1:48 MiG-15bis, the interior in 3D decals from Quinta Studio offers color three-dimensional cockpit detail on decal paper. The set is cut for the Bronco kit and is not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a cockpit accessory, not a kit. Quinta Studio prints the interior features three-dimensionally and straight away in color, and carries them on decal paper. The parts therefore have real depth, yet they go on as easily as an ordinary wet decal. Because the manufacturer offers the interior of this aircraft in the same scale for models of other brands as well, what matters with this item is that it is cut for the Bronco kit.
The MiG-15bis was a higher-performing development of the first production Soviet jet fighter with a swept wing. Compared with the original version it received a more powerful engine and a range of detail changes to the airframe and the equipment. The aircraft was built as a light, simple and fast-climbing interceptor with gun armament, was produced under license and in derived versions outside the Soviet Union as well, and served in dozens of countries. The cockpit is cramped and uncluttered, so on a model in 1:48 scale it reads well under the glazing.
Before application, let the plastic be evened out with a dark color and polish it with gloss clear. Cut the parts close to the edge, dip them only in clean lukewarm water and slide them with a brush. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as their chemicals attack the printed resin. Once dry, knock the surface back to matte so that the sheen of the decal does not give itself away under the glazing, and we recommend completing the cockpit before gluing the fuselage together.
This is an accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
