A model of the British Vickers 6-Ton light tank in 1:35 scale. The Vickers 6-Ton was among the small machines, so the finished model takes up little room in a display case and also works well as the center of a smaller diorama with figures.
The Vickers 6-Ton, also known under the designation Vickers Mark E, came about around 1930 as an export machine. The British army did not adopt it, but it sold to a number of countries and in the 1930s was among the most widespread light tanks of its category. Its layout became the starting point for the Polish 7TP and also carried over into the Soviet T-26. It was built in two basic forms: with a pair of small turrets side by side and with a single turret carrying a gun.
A small tank of the 1930s forgives fewer mistakes than a large machine, because there is nothing on it to draw the eye away. It pays to keep to the order:
The model will please anyone interested in interwar vehicles and in machines that are close to our part of Europe. Unless stated otherwise, it is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and other accessories are not part of the delivery.
