A set of photo-etched metal parts in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not an aircraft kit but a refining accessory aimed at the outer surface of the airframe. It is meant for models of the MiG-21MF fighter.
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 is a Soviet single-seat supersonic fighter aircraft with a delta wing, one of the most widespread combat aircraft of the second half of the 20th century. The MiG-21MF version is among the more capable frontline variants, with a more powerful engine and extended armament.
The parts are separated with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors, bent over an edge and glued with cyanoacrylate or varnish. We recommend bringing the small grilles and flaps out with a wash after varnishing. Degrease the metal surfaces before painting.
The accessory comes as a separate photo-etched set. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
