A set of cut self-adhesive masks from New Ware in the Advanced variant for a model of the two-seat MiG-31 interceptor in the B and BS versions. It is not a kit - these are precisely shaped masks in thin masking tape. The Advanced level covers the outer and the inner side of the extensive cockpit glazing including the sealing frames, and adds wheel masks, so it makes a clean coat on several parts of the model easier at once.
The MiG-31 (NATO reporting name Foxhound) is a Soviet and later Russian two-seat supersonic interceptor with long range, intended to destroy targets at great distances. The glazing of the two-seat cockpit is extensive and masking it is time-consuming; this set speeds the work up markedly.
Lay the glazing masks on clean glass, press them down and spray the frames and the seals. Stick the disc masks for the wheels onto the tire and spray the hub, which creates a sharp transition between the hub and the rubber. Once the paint is dry, lift the masks carefully.
This is a masking set. A model and paints are not included in the package.
