MiG-31BM 1:48: the full interior set from Quinta Studio

The complete variant of colored three-dimensional detail for the cockpit of the upgraded MiG-31 in 1:48 scale. Compared with the reduced release from the same brand it covers more ground, so it is the one for the modeler who wants the cockpit fitted out as thoroughly as possible and intends to leave the canopies slid back. Fitting works even on curved side walls: the elements follow the shape without breaking and do not have to be shortened.

The real subject

The letters BM mark the upgrade program that extended the service of the Foxhound deep into the twenty-first century. The work concerned above all the avionics and the weapons fit; the crew received new displays and the machine a wider range of duties. The external shape stayed essentially unchanged, and the difference from the older examples shows precisely inside the cockpit.
