This is a detail accessory, not a model of an aircraft. The set adds fine exterior features of the kind that a basic kit tends to simplify or leave out. It raises the fidelity of the surface of a MiG-17PF model in 1:48 scale. It combines fine photo-etched, printed and self-adhesive elements.
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17PF is the night and all-weather interceptor version of the MiG-17 fighter, fitted with a search radar in a revised nose. It served with a number of air forces in the Eastern Bloc and beyond.
Separate the finest parts with a sharp knife and bond them with super glue. Apply the self-adhesive elements to a clean, degreased and smoothly sanded surface. Degrease the photo-etched parts before painting and apply the paint in thin coats, so that the detail does not get clogged.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
