The Mil Mi-24P is the cannon version of the Soviet attack helicopter. Unlike the older machines with a movable machine gun turret under the nose, it carries a fixed twin-barrel 30 mm weapon on the right side of the fuselage, which is recognizable at first glance in profile. The crew sits in tandem one behind the other under separate canopies, and pylons for armament hang on the stub wings. It is a large machine with a great deal of small external equipment, so fine parts make sense on it.
